Hello,

Here is a rough draft of the August 10 DAN meeting.

The August 10, Diabetes Action Network of Ohio, meeting was called to order, by President Joanne Williams, on Monday, August 10, at 6:30; EDT.
Everyone in attendance had a chance to share prayer concerns, and a silent prayer took place.
All in attendance are as follows. Joanne Williams, Delcenia Brown, Colleen Roth, David Perry, Frankie Jones, Linda Blufard, Wonda Slone, Wilbert Turner, Richard Payne, Suzanne Turner, and Pat McFearson.

David Perry gave gave the secretaries report, distributed by email.
Delcenia Brown moved for the report to be moved, and Linda Blufard seconded the motion.
The motion passed.

Colleen Roth gave the treasurers report.Total balance, 
1785.41.
Balance from before. 1775.41.
Ending balance. 1785.41.
David moved for the report to be accepted, and Linda Blufard seconded the motion.
The motion passed.

PAC Plan Report.
Colleen Roth will call NFB Headquarters, and sign our Division to contribute $10 per month.

Money for the movement.
Joanne Williams suggested for our division to donate $150.
Delcenia Brown moved, and Linda Blufard seconded the motion.
The motion passed.

Door Prize Report.
Joanne Williams suggested a $50, 2 $25 cash prizes.
Delcenia moved, and Frankie seconded the motion.
The motion passed.

Delcenia moved for DAN to donate $100, to put an auction basket together, and Wonda seconded the motion.
The motion passed. 

Fund Raising Report, given by Wilbert Turner.
Linda moved to conduct a ticket sales, where various Chapters and Divisions can participate with DAN. Chapters and Divisions who participate, receive 25 percent of the proceeds, while DAN would receive the rest. Delcenia seconded the motion.
Wilbert suggested the fund raiser to take place throughout October.
The motion passed.

Our next DAN meeting will take place at the 79th annual NFBO State Convention.

The DAN meeting was adjourned at 8 PM.
