Here is the rough draft of the May DAN meeting. Please feel free to contact me offline, if you have any questions.
I missed a few names, while listening to the meeting. So if I missed any names, please let me know.

The Diabetes Action Network of Ohio meeting, took place, Monday, May 11, at 6:30; PM.

Everyone had an opportunity to submit prayer requests. A silent prayer took place.

All in attendance are as follows.
President Joanne Williams.
Vice President. Delcenia Brown.
Treasurer. Colleen Roth.
Linda Blufard.
Carolyn Peters.
Wonda Sloan.
Frankie Jones.
Gloria Conway.
Richard Payne.
Wiliam Turner.
Cindy Sea.
Suzanne Turner.
Jose Santana.

We were honored to hear a great presentation from our guest speaker. Kia Mountain, a Cardiologist Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Cleveland Medical Center. We learned about maintaining good physical health , along with emotional health as well. Taking care of your heart, kidneys, and metabolic system, are keys to good healthy living, through exercising, and maintaining a good diet. Visit your Doctor, as often as needed, and watch out for your overall health habits.

The Secretaries report has been tabled.
Moved by Delcenia Brown, and seconded by Frankie Jones. Motion passed.

Colleen gave the treasurers report.
Beginning balance. $1,361.41.
A withdraw of $265. $20 for Amy Baren, for winning door prize. $245 to assist Delcenia for attending Leadership Conference. Ending balance. $1,091.41.
PAC gets taken out each month in the amount of $10.
Delcenia moved to accept the report, and Linda seconded.
Motioned passed.

Theresa fund raising report was tabled. Moved by Delcenia Brown, and seconded by Linda. Motioned passed.

Suzanne gave a report to support the older blind programs and services.

Next meeting will take place, Monday evening, August 10, at 6:30; PM.

This meeting was adjourned at 8 PM.
