>> Dr. Peters, and Gary Waren shared their experiences of overcoming their kidney diseases, through dialysis or various types of procedures, such as kidney transplants. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle while dealing with diabetes can certainly help a person overcome various kidney diseases. Dr. Peters shared her experiences, and Gary has been her mentor, who has had to overcome a lot, including a major  surgery, having a kidney transplant.

>> Debbie Wunder shared with us, how a person who is blind can monitor their diabetes independently. This years DAN Knowledge Is Sweet Seminar will be virtual. Registration cost is $20. You can go to nfb.org/dan to register. Also, you can pay dues there, to join DAN at the national, and so much more. Knowledge of Sweet seminar will take place, March 27th and 28th.

>> Suzanne Turner moved for the report to be approved, and DR. Peters seconded the motion. Motion passed.
