All in attendance are as follows. Joanne Williams, Delcenia Brown, Colleen Roth, David Perry, Linda Bluford, Andra Stover, Iyola Douglas, Jose Santana, Wonda Sloan, Pat McFearson, Suzanne Turner, Frankie Jones, <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">We were privileged to learn about foot care, from a Podiatrist from Akron Ohio, and it was a wonderful presentation. Foot care is extremely important, especially for anyone with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">David Perry gave the Secretaries report from the March 10th meeting by email. Delcenia Brown moved for the minutes to be accepted, and was seconded by Linda Blufard. The motion passed.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Delcenia mentioned some minor difficulties with the division website, and email list serve, but we\u2019re working through them. However, everyone should still be receiving all emails.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Colleen Roth gave the treasurers report.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">$1,775.41.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Two deposits on April 1. $150, and $60. A total of $210.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Colleen had her statements in Braille.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Total balance of $1,775.41.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Linda Bluford made the motion to accept the treasurers report, and Frankie Jones seconded the motion. The motion passed.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">Delcenia gave a report on the Columbus seminar. There were 30 members in attendance, representing the affiliate, from various Chapters and Divisions. There were three issues we discussed with our Law makers throughout the Ohio Senate, and House of Representatives. Our three legislative imperatives included, fazing out subminimum wages, making medications and prescriptions accessible, and funding the pilot program for the deaf-blind with Suport Service Providers. The SSP\u2019s passed through the House, but still needs much work in the Senate.
