Diabetes is best controlled by testing. The dexcom works through an app, and you place it on your arm. It has to be changed once per year. It reads your blood sugars. Dr. Shresta told us the causes of diabetes. The Pancreas can\u2019t work well like it should, and genetics. A 15 minute walk immediately aftereating keeps your blood sugar from spiking. Diabetic neuropathy is common, and the best way to prevent this is being in control of your sugar levels. Blood sugar should be within range, between 70 and 150. Stress, poor dieting, and lack of exercise are three major factors of people struggling with diabetes. Once a person is diagnosed with diabetes, doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019re struggling with their sugar levels for life. However, healthy living can enable a person to walk out of their diabetes. Dr. Shresta works for a few clinics around the Cleveland area. </div><div><br></div><div>David Perry gave the AugustSecretaries report.</div><div>Delcenia Brown made the motion to accept the Secretaries report, and Wilbert Turner seconded.
