Good evening all,

Please find the note below sent to me by a person seeking participants to
complete a survey from Penn State University. While I do not know this
person, it does look to be correct information and not a scam so I'm passing
it on as requested.

Thank you.

Simon.

Dear President Bonenfant:

I hope this note finds you and your members doing as well as can be during
these difficult times. My name is Brett Spencer, I'm a librarian at Penn
State Berks near Reading, PA collaborating with rehabilitation and human
services faculty here as part of a newly formed research group (the
Anti-Ableism Research Team). We are conducting a study of college students
with disabilities and their experiences during the COVID crisis. Since
students with disabilities have been hit disproportionately hard by the
pandemic, we hope to give them a space for their voices. All the members of
our research team either have disabilities or have immediate family members
with disabilities.

We would be thrilled to have the voices of students you in your Association
be part of the study. As we view students with disabilities as lived
experience experts, we can offer gift cards for their valuable time. I am
therefore writing to ask: would you be willing to share the study
announcement under my web signature below with your members?

Best Wishes for Good Health,

Brett Spencer
