Subject: [PABS] Patsy Gibbs' Memorial Service
Hello all,
It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of our Greater Philadelphia Chapter member, Patricia "Patsy" Gibbs, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was 69 years old and has been a GPC member since 2003 and will be deeply missed.
Her family has shared that they find great comfort in knowing they were by her side during her final moments. They also expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown by our chapter members, affiliate members, and entire Federation family during this difficult time.
A Memorial Service will be held on:
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
11 AM
St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church
2139 East Cumberland Street
Philadelphia, PA 19125
All who would like to attend are welcome to join in honoring Patsy's life and memory.
If you would like to read Patsy's obituary, you may do so here:

Stacie

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
