Hello all,
The Greater Philadelphia Chapter is participating in the National
Federation of the Blind’s Coast to Coast Movement Challenge. As part of
this challenge, our chapter has been asked to raise at least $250 for the
National Federation of the Blind.
There are two ways you can support our chapter’s fundraising goal:
1. Participate in the Last Man Standing Dance Competition
The Last Man Standing Dance Competition will be held during the Boldly
Blind Cabaret on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Admission to the Boldly Blind Cabaret is $40. If you would like to
participate in the Last Man Standing Dance Competition, the entry fee is at
least $2.
2. Donate Online
You can also make a donation online using the link provided below.
When making your online donation, please enter “Greater Philadelphia
Chapter NFB of PA” in the notes section. This is very important because
chapters throughout the NFB will be using the same donation form, and
entering our chapter’s name will ensure that our chapter receives credit
toward our $250 fundraising goal.
Please email me at Stacie.leap at gmail.com if you are making an online
donation. There is a glitch in the website that sometimes does not input
the notes properly.

If you have any questions or need assistance completing the online donation
form, please contact me at stacie.leap at gmail.com or 1st Vice President
Marva Hall at marva at myyahoo.com
Thank you for supporting the Greater Philadelphia Chapter and helping us
reach our Coast to Coast Movement Challenge fundraising goal.
Sincerely,
Stacie

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
