[PACapitalChapter] November Chapter Meeting 11/21/20 Meeting Notes

Attendance:
Jason Polansky, Carlton Ann Cook Walker, Christina Callahan, Rob Farabaugh, Tim McCarthy, Hillary McFadden, Mark Pickens, Carole Cruise

-Discussion about 2020 State Convention: sharing about how successful and well done the hybrid model was. Speakers & topics were excellent and information shared was relevant and useful to attendees. As our first state hybrid convention it was a positive experience for those participating! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organize and coordinate the event! Next year’s convention will be held in Pittsburgh.

-Our chapter is looking into donating 2, $25 Panera gift cards to a needy family for the holidays. Jason will reach out to Vision Resources to see if they have a needy family or two that would be able to use a gift card.

-Fundraiser: Panera Gift cards are $25 and would make great gifts for family and friends this holiday season! If you are interested, send a check in the amount of the gift cards purchased & made check payable to: Capital Chapter of NFB of Pa.

Include your address and Carlton will mail you the gift cards. The cards can be entered in Panera app for easy use.

-Annual dues for membership to the Capital Chapter are $10 and are due January 1, 2021.

-The Capital Chapter sends out good thoughts and wishes to former Chapter President, Anna Walker, to stay strong and feel better soon!

-Tim’s new son is already a month old! Time sure does fly!

- Jason shared the company he is working for is growing in its services and resources. Good luck to Jason for continued success in the business world!

-The next Capital Chapter meeting will be:
December 19th at 10am
