Hello Federation family!
I am writing to inform you that our fellow Greater Philadelphia Chapter
member, Dexter Cooper, is currently hospitalized and in a coma at Albert
Einstein Medical Center. I spoke with his home health aide, Roosevelt, who
assured me that he will keep us updated on Dexter’s condition as he learns
more.
During this difficult time, I ask that we all keep Dexter in our positive
thoughts and prayers. May we surround him with love, strength, and hope as
he continues to fight.
Thank you, and I will share updates as soon as they are available.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
