Hey there, PA Federationists,
This week on Federation Focus [1], I've got two meetings, two
fundraisers, and several important reminders you do not want to miss. I
talk about the final push for raffle tickets, the fast-approaching
scholarship deadline, Coffee with the President on April 1, and the
Jigsaw Chapter meeting on Saturday. I also share details on the
Pennsylvania Association of Blind Merchants Spring Fling, the upcoming
Greater Philadelphia Chapter Double Good popcorn fundraiser, and
important updates about hotel availability for the 2026 National
Convention in Austin. Plus, I wrap things up with a reminder about the
fight to protect Section 504 and a fun bit of NFB trivia. Watch till the
end and let me know what you think of the musical reminder.

White Canes Connect
In this episode of White Canes Connect, host David Goldstein speaks with
Kaleigh Brendle, founder and president of Judy's League and a recent
graduate of Villanova University preparing to begin law school. Kaleigh
is a passionate disability rights advocate dedicated to protecting the
civil rights of disabled Americans through education, outreach, and
grassroots organizing.
Kaleigh joins the show to discuss Judy's League, a cross-disability
advocacy organization she founded in response to legal challenges
threatening Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973--one of the
foundational civil rights protections for people with disabilities. The
conversation explores the ongoing lawsuit Texas v. Kennedy, why Section
504 matters, and how advocacy groups are working to ensure these
protections remain intact.
