Hey there, PA Federation Family,
While you wait to join the Diabetes Action Network Group meeting at 6
PM, check out this week's Federation Focus.
Federation Focus [1] for the week of September 21, 2026 begins with
condolences to Jim Antonacci and his family following the passing of his
wife, Patricia.
This week also includes the NFBofPA scholarship raffle, Philadelphia
Marathon Weekend recruiting, and three meetings: the Diabetes Action
Network, Seniors Group, and Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
I also cover Dancing in the Dark to Be Dancing in the Light, the Boldly
Blind Cabaret, and important State Convention updates for Hershey,
including registration, hotel rooms, sponsorships, and exhibit hall
availability.
Condolences to President Emeritus Jim Antonacci
The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania extends our deepest
sympathies to Jim Antonacci and his family on the passing of his beloved
wife, Patricia. Please keep Jim and his family in your thoughts and
prayers as they mourn this tremendous loss.

Greater Philadelphia Chapter Cabaret Fundraiser
Join the Greater Philadelphia Chapter for a night of music, fun, and
community at their Boldly Blind Cabaret Fundraiser on Friday, October
30, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at 800 W. Olney Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19120.
Tickets are $40, and this 21-and-over event is BYOB. No coolers or ice,
please, but a setup with an ice bucket and cups will be available for
