Hi all,
After reading the posts from Ken, Beth, Marion and Masha, I decided to
have a go at the new CD Baby myself. I am a member artist as well as a
Sound in Sight artist. Not only was I unable to preview songs, but once
Jaws 9 or 10 had been up, even turning it off did not allow my sighted
husband to access the Preview function. He had no problems before
turning on Jaws.
My thought is that, I would be willing to write an article about this
for American Chronicle, if I can get several people who have had issues
to allow me to use their names and comments. I would also need from them
some of the standard details that the press generally includes in
mainstream articles, such as location, age or vocation/student status.
If any of you are interested, please contact me offlist at:

Ken, I would particularly like to quote from the letter you received
from them, so I hope you can participate in this. I will also contact
the president of the Performing arts Division, Dennis Holston to see if
he would like to issue a statement. I will also post something about
this to the Music Thoughts e-mail list, which was started by Derek
Sivers, the founder of CD Baby.
I am also putting together a list of blind recording artists who use the
list to include in the article, so if anyone knows of any let me know.
I'm aware of Lisa Ostrow's page and the Sound in Sight page as well as
my own, of course.
