Subject: RE:request from a music fan
I am so sorry!
We are aware that our website upgrade was actually a huge downgrade for
the blind.
Our site used to be VERY user friendly, and I think that it was overlooked
by our
programmers.
It IS a priority thoug, and we are working on making a dial up site that
will be
readable. This isn't going to happen anytime in the next 2-3 months, but
we ARE working
on this and it is an issue that is not being ignored!
I hope you can pass that along to your fan. We are disappointed by this
too. We were
really proud of how accessible our site was before for the blind, and we
would love
to have this fixed so we don't loose these customers. We want all of our
artists
music to get to as many people as possible!
Cheers,
Amy

Hi friends, On the CD baby issue, I thought you should know I've gotten
some feedback
on it from the performing arts mailing list. I gave the list members your
websites
and I hope they visit you and sign up for the mailing lists. In case I
didn't email
you CD baby is no longer accessible to the blind. you can't preview songs
but you
also can't even buy or even review yourself. What ever they did is
completely inaccessible
to the blind. I'm sorry I have to say I can no longer support you through
CD baby
and the people are very indifferent about this issue. I hope my blind
friends support
you all.
I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the national federation
of the

policies and programs of the federation; and abide by it's constitution.
