[Perform-talk] Going the Distance

Hello David and everyone,

If you removed me you'd have to remove others on this list who raised
concerns about this issue earlier this year. What a fantastic way to kill a
list. If I can fly my sound system to conventions from San Antonio and back
again so can the rest of you assuming it's small, compact, and capable of
producing high-quality audio. The only reason I raised the concern is that
it was caused to be raised by those who should know better.

Peter Donahue

You're lucky I don't run this list Peter or you'd be gone or at the
very least warned or told to switch topics. We get it! You don't like
the audio quality of the recordings of some of Pad's events. Until I
see you at every pad event offering to assist people like me and
others who are trying to record this stuff instead of complaining or
knocking the division and what its members do or don't record, frankly
I and I think I speak for others even if they won't say it don't give
a shit about this awesome recording you got recognized for. That's
great! But what it comes down to is this. You record what matters to
you and will make you look good, but will gladly ram your viewpoints
up our collective asses without doing a single thing to be
constructive and helpful. You know who does the broadcasting and the
recording, offer to help or quit bitching! BUy me that great recording
equipment and mic you speak of.
And with that, I'll get off my soap box, I'm done.
