[Perform-talk] Florida Congressman to hand over the keys to a blind man at Daytona tomorrow

Hello.
On the issue about posts to this list, while the blind driver challenge is 
not related to performing arts, I personally do not have an issue with links 
to articles being posted. Off topic things and articles get posted all the 
time across most of the NFB lists.

Hello Joshua,
Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure what the NFB-talk list you
speak of is. As Head of Media Relations for the Performing Arts
Division, I have done a lot of articles about our members and programs
which I have posted to other NFB division and affiliate lists without
encountering objections from those lists. If articles on other NFB
programs are inappropriate for the Performing arts list, I hope Dennis
or one of the other officers will weigh in on the issue. I had the
impression that we, as  a division of the NFB were supposed to be not
only supporting blind performers but to advance the goals of the NFB in
promoting blindness issues in general.
