Hey Amy. Dropbox is very simple. Once you get it set up, it becomes one of those set it and forget it kinds of services. Install the software from the drop box site. Part of the installation process will require you to enter your dropbox username and password. Once you do that, a dropbox folder will be created on your computer. I'm not sure where it puts the folder on windows, as I am a Mac user. Now, when you create a folder in that dropbox folder, it shows up on the site. When you paste files into any of the dropbox folders like public or photos, it automatically uploads them. Also, when you are invited to a folder and you accept the invitation, a folder is created in the dropbox folder and the contents is automatically downloaded. You can definitely use the free account no problem. The key to getting more space is having folks sign up using your invites. Hope this helps.
