[Perform-talk] An opportunity for disabled artists

 I got this message from another list and thought it would be great to
share it wit the group here. Here is what they wrote.

 Dear friends and colleagues!

 My name is Oleg Kolpashchikov and I am the president of White Cane social
 movement from the city of Yekaterinburg, Russia. White Cane social movement
 is a non-governmental organization that was founded by blind people in 2011.
 Our aim is to promote our community's social and economic activities. We
 believe that people of different abilities first of all should find a way
 how they can be useful to society. This is the key strategy for people of
 all abilities to gain economical and social independence and become
 successful.

 We are seeking new methods and approaches for integration of people with
 special needs into society and are doing it through different projects. One
 of them is called International Inclusive Games. We arrange one-day
 celebrations with vocal performances, dancing, workshops, sports contests
 and other activities. That's how we encourage disabled and healthy people to
 get to know each other and team up. Right after celebrations our inclusive
 teams start working on different social projects in ecology, tourism, sport
 and many other spheres. The game between the teams is who mange to improve
 and change society for the better more.

 The latest inclusive games were held on January 8th, 2014. At the concert
 that was organized for the games we had a brilliant performance by Sristi
 KC, a blind professional dancer from Nepal. You can find a video of her

 The next International inclusive games will be on May 14th, 2014. White Cane
 social movement is looking for people from all over the world who are into
 singing or dancing or performing something on stage and are willing to take
 part in the games in May. White Cane social movement will provide you with
 flight tickets to Yekaterinburg and back, accommodation and food. We will
 show you around in our city and you get a lot of fun from this trip.
