Peter, thanks very much for your message. I agree that compensation for time
spent working is most appropriate. With regard to the cost of tapping into
the hotel sound system in Orlando, it's actually closer to $850 for the
evening. But Mrs. Jernigan has given me the power to facilitate any and all
arrangements regarding performing arts activities. She would appreciate if
you contacted me or anybody else would contact me directly. Any connections
for sound engineers on the list in the Florida area would be very helpful to
know. I have been reaching out for several weeks now and have received
little response.

to clear that with Mrs. Jernigan too. I can tell you from having delt with
her in the past she prefers that the group wanting their events recorded or
streamed use their own sound system and a high-quality one at that. Patching
in to a hotel sound system can be an expensive business around $80.00 per
room per day for example. Using your own sound system also gives you
complete control over its operation and functioning. A number of events that
occurred at several past national conventions were recorded by me and now
grace our national Web site and several affiliate Web sites as well. We're
planning to be in Orlando next year. Depending on the condition of my sound
system, how many affiliates want their events recorded or streamed etc will
determine if I can fit the Performing Arts Division in or not. All the best.

set up equipment in that room they need to speak with me. I don't believe in
our organization we are in the habit of recording a particular divisions
event without clearing it with the president of said group.
