I totally agree with you Julie, getting your foot in the door is the hardest
part.

I do love reading out loud and acting as well.

Hi Maria,

I don't know much about audio description...  But I know there are people
who do voice over work-recording greetings or other information for people.
Also, do you enjoy reading out loud?  That is something I have always
enjoyed and would love to do professionally.

Sandra is right.  Once you have some experience acting in a certain
community, it will become easier to find jobs.  There are lots of things you
can do to make that more successful.  You can be the best memorized, have
very clear expression, or some other unique quality that puts you ahead of
the others.  Of course, you would need a chance in the first place to make
this work.
