hello maria and all,

thanks for sharing your experiences on the day of the auditon and, the
amptomsphere of it and, the avenue of it! it doesn't matter if the
actresses were totally blind or legally blind or visually impaired.
blindness is blindness! it doesn't mater how much vision you have if
you have less than 20/200 then you are legally blind or if you have
none at all then you are totally blind. we are all blind in capacity
and, when you said that you were stereotyping all people who happen to
be blind. we are all blind and, if it doesn't matter how much sight
you have at all! I am legally blind myself and, I have a rare
syndrome involving my blindness and, I also have a eye condition
called rp. but, I have classified myself as being first visually
impaired and, now i'm blind! many of the members and leaders here in
the nfb come from all levels of blindness because of it! i'm glad
that cbs used either a blind person who is both visually impaired and
blind... so, I will now get off my soapbox on this topic:)

hugs,
amy
