[Perform-Talk] Recording

I am planning to put together some recordings to send to my pastor for an
Evensong tomorrow night. I am scared to death because they will include some
singing. Anyway, I think when the choir was preparing, they were told a way
they could have the phone or iPad stop talking when you are seeking the
buttons to stop it. Can anyone enlighten me?
