Acting Intensive with Marilee Talkington

April 15th, 2021, at 6:00 PM Eastern, 3:00 PM Pacific

Our next membership activity will be an amazing, small-scale workshop with the incomparable Marilee Talkington, who is graciously offering this for free to 12 participants.

In this exciting and rigorous intensive, we will dive into cultivating the actor's imagination and the principles of your character’s given circumstance so you can begin to build your technique toolkit and your ability to inhabit a world you’ve created in your mind and body. 
Each participant will be emailed a very short open scene to review  a few days before class. The night of, we’ll launch into Marilee’s dynamic approach to the given circumstance work.  Then you’ll be paired with a scene partner,  put into a private Zoom room to rehearse,  and in the last 3/4 of class you’ll all perform your scenes for one another and work them moment to moment with Marilee. 
Teacher: Marilee Talkington 
Marilee is the Founder of Access Acting Academy and has 25 years of experience acting, writing, & directing on stage and screen.  She has her M.F.A. in acting and has been coaching and teaching actors, both non-disabled and disabled for nearly two decades. 

Those interested should sign up by filling out this FORM. Marilee will be taking the first 12 forms received and keep another 2-3 on a waitlist. If more are interested than that, she will keep their information for future intensives.
