I know this is kind of last minute, I kept screwing up in forwarding it, hope it works, but these classes are wonderful and this is the last cycle for the year. I know some in this group have ballet experience, and might want to skip and intro class, but I wasn't a sheer beginner and still learned from the class, because learning from a blind teacher who is both skilled as a teacher and a dancer and has worked on both how to learn and teach as a blind person, I learned something different. And for those with no background in ballet or other dance, it's really for absolute sheer beginners.

About Saturday Introductory Level Class:

This class is suitable for people with no prior knowledge of ballet. This repeating series of eight classes introduces students to the most common ballet vocabulary that they would need to know in order to participate in Open Level Dark Room Ballet Class. The class introduces students to necessary anatomical concepts like turnout, torso stability, foot sensitivity and mobility, sightless balancing, and the use of a taped floor for orientation.

Classes take place each Saturday online via the Zoom platform; there is also the option to call in via phone.
