Do you guys use Zell? I no longer have Venmo, nor do I have PayPal anymore. I also switched banks from Wells Fargo to Patelco Credit Union, and they only work with Zelle.

We’re excited to keep everything going and growing with you and your help. We have a few announcements that will be vital in moving forward during this year before we meet in person at the 2023 National Federation of the Blind annual convention, so please read on to see how you can remain plugged in and engaged to take advantage of the resources we are continuing to build upon. As you read through, please note we’ll be covering annual dues, elections for a board position, as well as the amended constitution for the Performing Arts Division we will all be voting upon during our annual business meeting in July.

> As many of you know, we are currently deep in the weeds, preparing for our upcoming business meeting and annual talent show at the National Federation of the Blind National Convention in Houston, Texas. We will be holding our business meeting and workshop on improvisation on Monday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. central. .

We will be reading out those proposed changes during the meeting, as well as sending them out ahead of time for your convenience.

> While most of our board we voted in last year will still be serving through their terms, we are, unfortunately, having to say goodbye to one of our board members, Lesley Hamrick who has served with us for the last six years. As a result, we will be running one election vote for a board member position. Those who would be interested in running should know this would complete the final year of a term
>
> Please consider running if you feel you are a fit based on the guidelines below. If you wish to run for office, please note that you must be an active dues-paying member.
>
> We are seeking hard-working, reliable, competent, passionate individuals who are excited about raising expectations for blind performers and promoting equality and opportunity across all levels of the entertainment industry. We welcome professional and hobbyist performers and allies in our division. You must be willing to commit to a monthly board meeting, bimonthly membership calls, and work diligently on other special projects throughout the year suited to your skills and interests. Please remember that not being on the board does not preclude you from working hard to further the aims of this division. You can accomplish just as much while being an active member as being on the board.
>
> Please reach out to me or any other board member if you have any questions, and please let someone on our board know if you plan to run. You can email any of us with any of your questions or nominations at:
