   I am a coordinator in the Department of Music, Theater, and Dance at
the University of New Haven. We are looking to hire a private tutor for
the fall 2024 semester who could allow us to make two Music Theory
courses accessible to a blind student in our program. This tutor would
work directly with both the blind student as well as our department's
theory faculty, attending classes if possible, and converting
assignments to/from Braille notation. A successful applicant must be
fluent in Braille music notation, have experience in music theory
pedagogy, be willing to commute to our campus in West Haven, and have
some availability for the fall semester (which runs from August 26, 2024
through December 18, 2024).
