Subject: Burn-out and/or stress for visually impaired musicians
Hi All,
Sarah Bayley, one of the Sound Without Sight interns, is conducting a
research project about possible stresses and burn-out unique to visually
impaired musicians. Sarah writes:
I am undertaking a small scale research project, looking at the effects of
burnout in visually impaired musicians/professionals and volunteers. I am
hoping to •Establish the rate of burnout in VI musicians so I can compare
with existing research. • Understand the physical experiences of burnout. •
Understand how people cope with burnout. Some more information about my
project can be found here.
