[Perform-Talk] Seeking In-Person Participants for the Upcoming Auditioning Workshop

Hi members and friends,

 

As you may already know, PAD will be hosting an in-person Auditioning 101
workshop immediately following our annual business meeting at the 2024
National Convention. Entrance for all participants will be $5, and we hope
you've already added this informative and fun event to your calendar.

 

As part of the workshop, a few attendees will be selected to participate in
a mock audition, using a short scene, provided in both braille and
large-print formats on the day of the event. No preparation ahead of time is
required or expected.

 

If you are planning to attend /participate in this workshop and you'd like
to be a part of this mock audition element, we ask that you email your
interest to Elizabethrouse.nfb at gmail.com

3rd. Not everyone will be able to participate, but we would love to include
as many folks as we can, so knowing who is interested ahead of time will
help smooth out the process.

 

Folks will have the opportunity to practice with mock scene material
available following the conclusion of the workshop in electronic format and
limited hard copies.
