[Perform-Talk] Handling procession on and off stage

Hello fellow performers,
I would love any suggestions on how to deal with procession at ls as it relates to concerts. I have the opportunity to perform an extended work with singers from all daifferent churches and choirs around my area ′I initially was not going to sign up for this opportunity because I wasn't sure whether I could get  a braille copy of the score, but I decided to do it anyw at y because I wanted to show the community that blind people can be an equal contributor to the musical community′. The director who is running this group has been extremely accommedating ′she did express so initial concern over me being able to get into the choir loft, but once I explaained that I could handle the steps and the techniques I might use, she was on board with having me be part of the group and we didn't end up using the choir loft after all which is a bonus. she let me know this evening that the choir will process on and off st at ge and she is open to trying a variety of approaches for me to do it safely, whether that's using a sighted guide, white cane, or combination of both. i would love to know how you hedle proc€ssing on and off st at ge in a choral setting ′the concert takes place in a church′. For those of you o us€ the NFB style canes, how do you hed£e stowing them while you are singing or so this o situation which a folding c at ne would be appropriate? I et the director know that i would be bringing a long white cane that doesn't fold and asked from there do   a place to put it during the performance sx is out of the way, but I do ppreciat€ what your thoughts are not this opic and the est approach to hed£ing it.
