Hello-I hope all are well and having a wonderful summer! I wanted to share with you guys an article I recently wrote for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) news letter: It is a reflection on Psalm 139. If interested, you can download the PDF at the link below, and it is readable, I promise😉.

The following is an article I wrote for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) newsletter, reflecting on Psalm 139. Backstory: I became involved with NPM in college, when I had the privilege of attending a Cantor Express retreat in Lexington, KY. It was one of the most impactful musical events I have attended! I learned that, to be a more effective song-leader, conveying the message of the Responsorial psalms and hymns you sing is even more important than the quality of one’s voice. I was reminded yet again that “one who sings, prays twice.” At any rate, I re-connected with this wonderful organization late last year and felt called to write this reflection on Psalm 139, one of my favorite passages from Scripture. Whether you are a music minister or performer, I hope there is something in this article to which you can relate😊. If I have shared this correctly, you can download it as a PDF, and I promise it is readable😊

Have a blessed day and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this, and whether you are a music minister, performer, or human-in-progress, (and the latter of which I think we all are) I am sure you can relate. Writing this reflection was enjoyable and nerve-wracking all at the same time😊.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy!

Annie
