Passing the below YouTube channel on as it could be helpful to some. We have no personal affiliation, but sounds like a neat resource.

Subject: Introducing Accessible Piano Score Channel for the Blind

Dear National Federation of the Blind (NFB),

My name is Payman Fiuzat and I am a piano teacher. In recent months, I have created the “Major” YouTube channel.

On this channel, I read out piano scores for blind and visually impaired individuals interested in playing the piano. In each episode, I perform a piano piece and read the sheet music aloud.

Six years ago, I experimented with this method with one of my students, and she was able to play nearly seventy piano pieces. Gradually, with her guidance and that of another blind student, my approach to reading scores has become more structured and practically useful.

I am sending you the link to the Major channel, in case you find it appropriate to introduce it to your audience and members.

(In this link you can see a sample of Major_channel episodes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HmtfW4ylqo )

Please note, the Major channel does not claim to teach music. Proper instruction should be given by a music teacher. However, the channel can be useful for those who have already gained some basic familiarity with music.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

Payman Fiuzat
