Hi PAD members and friends,<br>

As the holidays draw near and people start pulling out their cameras
even more often than usual, try to get someone to take your picture
practicing your instrument or acting or doing a radio show or whatever
else you do that's performing arts related. The Media office is now
looking for photos of blind entertainers of all ages for generating
publicity so that we can really get our Mary Anne Parks Performing Arts
Scholarship off the ground. We're also hoping to have a photo gallery
on the PAD web site. There's nothing like pictures to get the
attention of our sighted visitors. Send your JPEG photo files to me as
attachments at:<br>

and don't forget to tell me what you're up to in the photo. I'm
putting out my own first ever newsletter this week, and a large part of
it will be geared toward promoting PAD. I'll post it to this list. If
any of you have other ideas or want to help by distributing materials,
give me a shout. Well, I'm off to prepare for a visit with our US
Congressman tomorrow morning to talk about PAD. Send me some calming
