It seems to me that Pat Munsen from California did this for years. She
would be the one I'd start with.

Hi, Dave,

Please post this to the NFB lists. It might be an opportunity for one
or more Federationists to receive some well-deserved recognition and to
spread the word about the abilities and achievements of blind people.

Thanks!

Debbie

Hi all,

I'm posting this for an acquaintance who does not have internet
access.........

I received a phone call from a blind lady who is back in school working
on getting her ESL (English as a second language) license/endorsement.
She really would like to speak to blind or sighted people - brief
interview format - about how a person who is blind could be a successful
ESL teacher, since, according to her, so much is done through pictures.
She evidently is having some difficulty with the college staff
understanding how she can get the job done.

It would be great if you could help her. I know we are all super busy,
but it shouldn't take long.

You may e-mail me off list wagner_g at aps.edu and give me your phone
number, and she will call you. Or you may call Dawn at 505-836-3042.

Thank you so much,

Gail Wager TVI New Mexico
