Their program to provide free encyclopedia articles is very good too.  I've found it helpful for David's research projects since the article is in braille and ready to go for him!

  I cant recall if this program has already been posted on the list, but if not please consider sharing this info with the parents you work with.
  The chances of "winning" are actually quite good (both my son's have won in the past & VERY excited to receive their prizes   :-)   )
  They have books for younger & older children & even a few in Spanish...
  At the risk of decreasing my kids odds of winning a bit, I will still promote this :-)

    This program was originally called "Anna's Book Angel Project" in memory of
    Anna Bonde. Now we have expanded the program so that each blind child can
    receive two free books per year from Seedlings!

    the list of books (from our catalog) that your child might like to receive.
    You can also register by using the form in the back of the Seedlings
    catalog, or by calling Seedlings at 800-777-8552.



    How does it work? This program is open to blind & V-I children in the U.S.
    We will randomly select several children each week from those who have
    registered, and they will each be sent two free braille books from their
    "wish list." The books will be mailed "Free Matter for the Blind." We will
    continue to draw names and send books as time and materials allow. This
    program is made possible by Seedlings' generous donors. If you want to send
    a "thank you," we will make sure the donors receive it!
