Hello:

     I would also suggest the Click Rule. There is also a device called the 
Rotomatic that can measure to 1/64. The Rotomatic is harder to use, but is 
useful for making accurate measurements. I have seen a metrick clickrule. In 
case anyone cares, there are also calipers and micrometers that have 
computer interfaces, so if you need something very accurate, there are some 
possibilities. Hope this post measures up.
