Hi, I found some very good ideas on the TSBVI website. They are grouped into different categories and seem to cover students of different ability levels.

Subject: [Pibe-division] IEP Suggested Goals

I am working on a project to collect good ideas that can be used in the development of IEPs for students. Since all of you have expertise in developing an IEP and this is the season for writing IEPs, I hope you will take a few minutes to help me out.

I would like suggestions on goals that may be used to help the student develop a positive attitude about blindness and more specifically about Braille. Goals for any aged student are needed.

I am also looking for ideas for goals to integrate Braille into the curriculum for low vision students who are or will be dual readers (i.e. readers of both print and Braille). Goals for students at all levels are needed. Please send your ideas to me by May 4. My email address is nfbmd at earthlink.net<mailto:nfbmd at earthlink.net>. Thanks in advance for considering this request.
