Hello Denise and everyone,

    And there is no way for a deaf-blind person to submit comments either. 
How can we talk about the importance of Web site accessibility when we 
ourselves have sites and blogs which contain components unusable by the 
blind. You need to find a spam control solution that does its thing in the 
background without requiring user interaction. There is at least one such 
utility for Web sites, CMS Systems and Blogs built using the ColdFusion 
Markup Language (CFML.) It's called CFFormProtect. I have installed it on 
several ColdFusion-based Web sites and blogs and no one knows it's there 
policing site forms for would-be spammers without creating accessibility 
barriers for blind and other disabled visitors.

    Just Google CFFormProtect for further information.

    I'm sure there are similar utilities for Web sites developed using other 
Web languages and for various web site frameworks. You need to research this 
and if you find one that will work with your blog remove the captcha and 
replace it with the unobtrusive spam control utility. Here's hoping this 
issue will be resolved shortly.
