Dear Certified Teachers of the blind and visually impaired, certified orientation and mobility specialists and blind consumers:    
I have a received an email fro a listserv I am subscribed to that the new aph talking maps are available. These maps work on pc and don't require any screen reader. It can enhance orientation and mobility lesson and be used by a tvi who teaches concepts integrated in social studies like cardinal directions. Blind consumers can understand the layout of their neighbnborhood by exploring the neighborhood using this software.
