Marianne,

In my experience, MAPS is not accessible.  The dynamic questions used seem
to be graphics files, and they do not play well with ZoomText.  I have not
attempted to use JAWS with MAPS, but I am confident that MAPS is even more
inaccessible with screen reading software than it is with screen
enlargement software.

As of last fall, at least, their documentation indicated that the school
may purchase large print or hard copy braille from the makers.  Of course,
these tests cannot be dynamic, and are a poor substitute.  I have thus far
been unsuccessful in halting the use of this software for my students
(despite sharing the June 29, 2010 OCR Dear Colleague Letter about
accessible technology use with my employer).
