[Pibe-division] resources for helping a student change her attitude about blindness

First, I would find where she has an initial interest, i.e. music, theater, technology, etc.
She will more likely respond to positive attitudes from someone she would connect with in a "normal" sphere, which would then generalize to accepting her blindness as she learns the skills she would need to accomplish similar interests with alternative techniques.
So, the question is: what does she like to do?

Subject: [Pibe-division] resources for helping a student change her attitude about blindness
Hello all,
Can any of you suggest some resources I could use with an upper elementary student in changing her negative attitude toward her blindness? She has come a very long way in the past year, but I'm looking for some reading materials to spark and support further conversations on the topic. She is an avid reader and quite bright, so even middle school reading level materials would be appropriate.

Any suggestions you give are appreciated.
