NOTICE OF VACANCY 2016-2017 School Year

POSITION:                         Teacher of the Visually Impaired
LOCATION:                        District Wide
STARTING:                        Beginning 2016-2017 School Year
SALARY RANGE:             $39,284 - $77,038 dependent on experience and degree status

QUALIFICATIONS:
Teaching applicants must be NH certified or eligible as a Deaf and Hearing Disability Teacher.  We are seeking applicants proficient in sign language. Experience with deaf and/or hard of hearing students in a school setting is preferred.

EXPLANATION OF PARAEDUCATORS JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Special Education Program Administrator, will provide quality education to deaf and hard of hearing students, preschools through high school age; through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; communication and social skills development; interagency cooperation, and a strong parent-teacher-student linkage.
