blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } Hi AmyI'm not sure exactly what the issue is for you, however, if to get back to the place where the folder you want to paste into is you are using space with z, try using backspace instead, as on the U2, when you shut folders you lose the document you have copied (or cut).
Are the documents you are wanting to move sitting as 'loose documents' in the My Documents folder? Is "Science Documents" a sub-folder of 'My Documents'?
If so, locate, but do not open the document "Stars"Press space to select it..To move it, use the "cut" command - Enter with XUp arrow, using the scroll keys at the side of the braille display, until you come to the "Science Documents" folder.Open this using enter. Then paste the "Stars" document in here by using Enter with V.It should say something like, "Moving one document", and it will then be placed in the Science Documents folder.
All the best,
Amanda

Amy:

I am a blind BrailleSense user and may be able to help. However, I need a little more information about exactly what the BrailleSense is doing. Would it be possible for you to call me when you have the unit with you and can tell me what it’s doing? My number is (443) 547-2409.

Thanks,

Chris

Subject: [Pibe-division] braille sense file management question??

Hi all,

We are using a Braille Sense U2 and are having some trouble moving existing files into created folders.

For example; moving a file called 'stars' to the folder we created entitled, 'science documents'.  I have tried cutting/pasting as I would in my computer but no luck.  The 'move' command appears to only  move things to the drive list and we are unable to specify a folder.

Any help would be great...trying to 'clean up' the list and get our student more organized.

Thank you,

Amy
