Does he have CVI Amy--that is a whole other issue-he will need hands on and a lot of explanation of what he is actually touching

Subject: [Pibe-division] {Spam?} CAD plan reading for low vision  Hello all,  I have a low vision 10th grade/regular ed student; using visio  I am seeing difficulty for him in reading the 'plans' due to lots of detail that needs to be transferred to the program for use.  My first thought is to simplify the drawings as much as possible, using high contrast/enlargement.  However; I am hearing that he still has difficulty in managing the concepts presented visually (2d to 3d translation).   Has anyone every managed this type of problem with a student--what would you suggest we try?  I considered use of a prototype and measuring the actual product, but fear this would remove the learning of the concept.   Thank you for your time in advance, Amy
