kind of book is that either a transcriber has to make tactile images or the
images have to be very well described. As for just reading the text, I suppose
it would depend on the book. If the text was sufficiently descriptive, then the
graphics could be ignored. I am guessing that this will not be the case for some
books and those that rely too heavily on pictures aren't easily
accessible.</FONT></DIV>

the artwork/pictures convey important information, similar to the visual
aspect of a movie or TV show. I admit my first reaction was “this wont work
because it is too visual. But then as I thought about this more, I began to
wonder, because blind people enjoy movies & TV shows even when they cant
see the visual aspects of these.</SPAN></P>
