I am a VI teacher who has taught chemistry for 6 years to the VI. If the school will get him a temperature probe that connects to a computer, it would be great. He needs tactile graphing paper of course. He needs the braille measuring cups. Get him the braille metric and brailled English system of measurements so he can compare. he needs manipulatives like gram measurements and a balance. He needs a talking scale that measures grams and ounces and a metric and English ruler. There is a great kitchen one that I use. The Basic Science Book from APH is great for thermaform science pictures. SAVI has great kits for him. They are great for his age. I know much more hands-on stuff than websites as we have no internet in our class. cindy robinson<BR> <BR>
