Methods of using assistive technology to support curriculum will be explored and demonstrated through the creation of customized computer activities using current multimedia authoring programs. Methods of audio file creation and acquisition will be covered, along with options for necessary players. Methods for working with students with a variety of needs will be covered. Students are expected to have completed a basic course on assistive technology for the visually impaired, or have instructor permission. Introductory knowledge of screen readers and operating Windows without a mouse are required.
