They provide specialized services and vocational programs that are shared between several school districts. TVI, TOD,and other special educational services are provided by BOCES and districts request those services. Each BOCES has a certification person who can help with certification issues and will look at you credentials and help determine what you need to do in order to get permanent certification in New York state. question is what does the acronym BOCES refer to? I appreciate clarification
about this term. I live in <st1:city w:st="on">New York City</st1:city> but do
go to upstate <st1:state w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">New
York</st1:place></st1:state> occasionally in the summer
