I will taking a long plane ride this month so i wanted some reading materiaI for my flight to read with my Nook or my i pad. So I recently signed up to purchase some books from AFB. These specialized books can be very pricey. In addition these books can be very bulky. So I was pleased to see that they had e publication versions of some of the books at a greatly reduced price. So I purchased 3 books. To my chagrin I found that these are not e publications as I am use to but online versions with expiration dates.<br>
I am somewhat irritated about this. In my mind this is false advertising. I would appreciate any comments you all may have.<br>

Our district has started an iPad pilot - which is being enthusiastically embraced by students & teachers alike - thus the district is definitely moving in that direction ? full steam ahead with iPads.<br>

Interestingly a number of local school districts in LA County are now expressing interest in also incorporating iPads to their curriculums & are setting up appointments to visit our district as they too are likely to move in that direction.<br>
