K1000 will then process the file. On Windows 7, you can highlight the file, then press shift+f10. This will bring up a menu. Arrow down until you find the entry recognize with Kurzweil. Press enter and K1000 will start in the background and create an RTF file with the same name. This RTF file can be read with Word. Another neat feature on the menu is the copy as path. This places the full path of the file on the clipboard. When you open a file interactively, pressing ctrl+v will paste the complete path.
