<div>hello all,</div><div>need some input if you could. I have a low vision student currently using a laptop, audiobooks, VisioBook and uses a Kindle at home for leisure reading. Mom has requested that we opt for an Ipad or similar device instead of the laptop. </div>
<div> </div><div>My personal experience with the IPAD type tech is that while it's portable and has many great uses, it simply is not as capable as a laptop in some important ways. </div>
<div>Any input or advice here is welcome...I'd like to be able to accommodate but not if it's going to limit him. The district has purchased the laptop with hd screen and it's a good, high speed laptop, so it's not a matter of current poor tech. </div>
